You by the looks of it have severe problems.

If 'Safemode' is not even accessable then it's pretty bad.

What you need to do now I feel is format the drive, ie it will delete everything and start again

Drastic but probably only option left.

Display drivers shouldn't wreak such havoc with a machine, as long as the INF is coded correctly

You may need to try again with drivers after you new XP install.

Install a driver quite soon after you reinstall XP as some other apps might be the cause of your problems.

And good luck.

Your pretty well stuck with the go5600 for your Alienware machine.

It is getting a little old to run modern games with max settings.

Uninstall drivers now that your able to and try another set, give 84.25 a whirl.

Had been good for many.

The go5700 is slightly faster as it has faster clocks, otherwise the same internally.

There won't be a huge difference.

driver irq not less than or equal has to do with XP and its bugs, can even be caused by sound, network, or USB drivers.

You might want to make sure your other things are updated before you install the graphics card drivers.

Up to that point (without gf drivers installed) it should be fine and stable. (alhtough you won't have full graphics card features)

If it isnt' you could have screwy drivers somewhere else.

It would help if XP could better asign IRQs. (my gf card, sound card, USB, and network card all use IRQ 11 last time I checked, lol)

To update the driver with the mod INF just unzip the driver and right click download the INF into the driver folder, it will replace the INF in the folder, next you should go to the device manger to install.
