Lazaretto
I updated my video drivers to 84.21 on my new Dell XPS M170 notebook which has the 7800 Geforce Go card. Also, I ran the iso file updated and clocked my card at 440/1250. Since making these changes I get periodic crashes to the blue screen that say "NV4_DISP" error. Upon reboot, things work ok. Any idea what's up with that blue screen crash tendency and what I can do to fix it? Thanks, Laz
Guest Guest
just a though... maybe u OVERCLOCKED it - maybe you should try Detect Optimal
Fabrice Roux
Do you have any idea of what you did? Why you did it? And what are the consequences? The default Geforce Go 7800 is clocked 400/1100... Dell probably uses those values. By overclocking your GPU you squeeze more juice out of it... at the expense of more heat dissipation... which can lead to overheating then crash.
