brambler Posted April 17, 2006 Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 I just installed a go 7800 gtx in my Inspiron 9300, and while it works fine, I'm having some trouble getting it to OC. I've tried 84.25 and am currently using 84.43, coolbits enabled and whatnot. The strange thing is, while I have access to the Clock Frequency Settings tab, and can move the sliders around, no matter what I set them at, it says it can't run at that speed and returns to the default (400mhz for the core, 1.06ghz for the memory), even when I try a lower speed! :) Detect Optimal frequencies appears to do nothing, and I just can't figure out what the deal with this is.
