whitetigerx7
I have a Geforce 6600 in my laptop an Alienware Area-51 m5500. Problem is I have little success getting Powermizer to work properly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.) I only have the AC Power Setting silder and can not adjust my battery consumption level. I assume the Battery and AC sliders were merged into one but I'm very skeptical about it. Could be my drivers as they are the 84.43s. 2.) Even with my BIOS set to Maximum Battery Life, I can only get around 1 hour and 30 minutes out of the laptop before the alarms start going off. I even tried adjusting the Powermizer slider to maximum Power Savings but nothing really made a difference. I'm going to test the Intel 900GMA graphics for lifespan as well. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question, but has anyone using the 84.25s or other official released drivers been able to get the full Powermizer settings menu for both Battery and AC and had better success with battery longevity?
