Frosty the Snowman
Tried these on my XPS gen 2 to get ghost recon running better, and it majorly improved it. Still a bit sketchy, but at least i can turn up the res a bit now without huge mouse lag. BF2 runs better than it ever has done and looks brilliant too. Maximum res now without lag! Middle earth 2 looks and runs sweet. CS source has improved also on the HDR enabled levels, so I can run at full 1920X1200. therealleimi
Hm... I've just installed these drivers on my gf7800Go but when I set the powermizer to minimum energy-consumption the temperature of the gpu isn't influenced just as I expierienced this with the whole bunch of older drivers. Any suggestions on how to fix this!? Edit.: I noticed that I don't have the ability to activate the new control-panel on that driver. Is this feature implemented - and if 'yes' - how can it be activated? Edited May 6, 2006 by therealleimi

therealleimi
But how do I know that powermizer works correctly?
Frosty the Snowman
But how do I know that powermizer works correctly? When i use powermizer, the framerate in my games goes down a bit, so I guess it's working. Other than that, I never really thought about it! :)

whitetigerx7
I just tested these drivers on my system and they are very good and REALLY stable. Even a few problem applications I've had problems with in the past now work better. There ARE a few changes. The old control panel due to my INF settings is now TOTALLY disabled minus nView which now is seperate, the old control panel is still there, but most of the valued settings are gone. Sedona integrates perfectly with these which is a plus giving you full control again. I also, for those of you with special workstations I have enabled the MultiView controls via the Display Control Panel applet. These are mostly for Quadro NVS dual GPU cards used for multiple displays for workstations. Check my Ultimate INF for Alienware if you want the INF for sample purposes. Guest Guest
Hi, I have a Acer 5652 with a Nvidia 7600 Go and I have a problem with the v84.56. When I use the S-Video TV-out, 1/3 of the TV screen (from the bottom) is garbage, a mix of white and grey lines. Every options (Clone, extention, dual) gave me the same result. I did a roll back to version 84.21 , and TV-out work fine. Thanks
