tortoise1810
In order to reduce the noise and heat, I turned my Geforce go 6800 core and memory clock from 375/700 down to 270/300. Is this harmful to my video card? TY!

TY! your stock clocks were 375/700? thats pretty amazing, anyway i dont think it will harm because the bootup clocks on my 6800 are 200/200 but why so low you should be at like 300/600 so you dont loose so much performance. I was able to OC it to 430/780. Since I am not a hard gamer, such performance had no point to me. I think your 6800's Vram might be DDR I ? Ice-Tea
There is a remote chance that the card won't run stable, comparable to overclocking, but it is in no wat harmfull, quite the contrary.
