Mcdirty Posted May 7, 2006 Report Share Posted May 7, 2006 I Have a Laptop that was not working, the screen was completely black. I replaced the inverter with no luck. I installed new graphics drivers from HP and the picture returned - although it is only in the top left of the screen and has ghosting along the bottom. (I have a picture). I have tried using varying drivers (the latest ones from here, aswell as 77.77), but they all return the problem with the black screen. Im unsure now what the problem is and how to solve it.
