mobilenvidia
This morning I got a phone call at 1:50am to say my wife had started contractions. I zoomed off to the hospital (200km away), I've been working while the wife was staying with her parents. A 2nd phone call telling me to hurry up got my foot down on the pedal and broke the land speed record set when our son was born 2.5 years ago. A mere 1 hour after getting my wife in the Hospital (5am), Emily, our 8lb5oz baby girl arrived into this world. Both Mother and daughter are doing really well and are home (inlaws) already. Probably shouldn't place the news here, but hey, not everyday I'm the father of a beautiful baby girl who will undoubtitly cause me sleepness nights when she's a teenager :) You blokes, I know where you live :) I might not get to the new drivers as quick as I would like, with my new distraction, over the next few weeks. Now you'll know why :P

Ice-Tea
Most definetely worthy of a news post. Make sure to keep your priorities right. Look after that little girl and here mother. I'm sure most people can live with having 0.23 frames less in WoW for a wee bit longer :)

Fabrice Roux
Better late than never... congratulations buddy. Poping a beer in your name right now... :P ps: I just discovered the news section of the forum. *doh* EDIT1: I just reread the post: "Both Mother and daughter are doing really well and are home (inlaws) already." Already home... :) you scare me here in France the baby and the mom stay at least 5 days until the baby returns to the birth weight. EDIT2: You notice that you are a geek when you post something for an online community within the first hours of a birth. I posted to my friends on alt.games.starsiege.tribes 2 month ago to announce my baby girl. :) Edited May 9, 2006 by Fabrice Roux
