[Newbie] Vista drivers for Dell Inspiron 8500

How do i get vista to reconice the Gfx 4 4200 go video card in my Inspiron 8500?

Been looking around here and trying doing some google searches for it. both without succes :(

I know i won't get areo to run on it but I am unable to even get decent 2d graphics. (defaults to Default VGA card!)

Any suggestions would be great.

I dont think vista has any drivers implemented in it yet. unless you have a driver CD for your video card, I think you'll have to wait for vista to actually come out.

Vista has nvidia drivers included, but you might consider our updated driver versions with the modified INF. Have a look in the 80s release forum

anyone found anything in the 80s ..all Quotes seem to include only 5 series and 6 series for vista 32 bit, didnt find Go 4200... sorry im new here did i miss something :S
