Guest sunnylqm
It improves a lot! My 6200go(tc) has broken the 1000 mark(3DMARK05) for the first time without overclocking using this driver

The-Monk
Hi there the driver installed fine but I'm having a problem. The Smart Dimmer tweak pasted below no longer seems to work in this new driver. Any fix for this? ;Smart Dimmer Controls HKR,, EnableBrightnessControl, %REG_DWORD%, 1 HKR,, PanelPWMFrequency, %REG_DWORD%, 200 HKR,, PanelBrightnessLimits, %REG_DWORD%, 0x0000FF32
Guest Guest
Hi, this driver is really fast in 3DBench 05 on my GeForce 6200 go ... but it hangs my system if i try 3DBench 06 or 3DBench 03. Concretely, the cpu tests (1 or 2) in 3DBench 06 will be passed, but the system can't wake up after the test ... Who can confirm this, or have an idea? Thanks in ahead Greetings - harrycan

Looter
Original INF supports and is WHQL for these GPU's:NVIDIA_BR02.DEV_00F3.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 " NVIDIA_NV43.DEV_014F.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200" NVIDIA_NV44.DEV_0161.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache" NVIDIA_NV44.DEV_0162.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200SE TurboCache" NVIDIA_NV44.DEV_0163.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 LE" NVIDIA_NV44.DEV_0221.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 " NVIDIA_NV44.DEV_0222.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6200 A-LE" I have a Geforce Go 6200 256Mb, not sure which of these models it's supposed to be, but the original inf doesn't find it... do u guys think the modded inf will help? Or should I just go the ol' backdoor way of install? :) Keep getting BSOD with most drivers, and even in simple apps, so I'm hoping to find a stable driver so solve this frustration... May be a hardware issue, but atm I can't be 2 weeks without my laptop to send it for service (use it for work a lot) Loots (BSOD is not my friend)

mrcreativity
I seem to have an odd problem with the new series drivers and 3438G. The fan seems to be on all the time on all the time. It does go off after i hit the silent button. I have enabled the regsitry and the Nvidia Service. The fan control works perfectly with the older 84.15. Any Advice? gmaust
Can anyone help a newbie - i have tried for some weeks and looked through the archives and now only ask for help as a last resort - I have a toshiba 5100 satellite with nvidia geforce 4 440 go 32mb. My problem is that the only driver i can get to work without stanby issues (and a screen that flashes black for a second after desktop appears at boot up) is 71.24 with Petiers inf desingned to work with all laptiops and desktops. All newer drivers all give me the same issue as above. I have tried all the enhanced inf 'stanby versions' plus changing 3 to 2 in the inf - nothing works for me. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.
Guest Tomppa
I have a Acer Aspire 1363LC laptop with GeForce FX Go5200 64MB, I am currently using Omega drivers, because theyre the only ones I found so far, but their a bit old... I've tried a few 80's drivers from here with that different inf file, everything is fine until I reboot, sreen flashes blue and the computer restarts, giving me a chance for "Last known good configuration". Anyway to make i.e. these drivers to work?
Romp
They installed without problems and run great. I had a strange "post-processing" issue with GuildWars using 84.x drivers. This fixed it.

Guest godfreyouwens
I've been using laptopvideo2go drivers and INF's for awhile now and I figured I'd give some feedback. First off, heres my system specs: Dell XPS Gen2 - 2.0 GHz Pentium M - 1 gig ddr2 533MHz - go6800ultra - 100 gig 5400 rpm Seagate Hard drive System settings: - Power Schem set to Laptop/Portable - Desktop settings set to best appearance Graphics settings - Antialiasing - Application Controlled - Anistropic - Application Controlled - Image Settings - Quality - Vertical Sync - Application Controlled - Force Mipmaps - None - Conformant texture clamp - On - Extension Limit - Off - Hardware Acceleration - Single Disply Mode - Trilinear Optimization - On - Anistropic mip filter optimization - Off - Anistropic sample optimization - On - Triple buffering - Off - Negative LOD bias - Allow Benchmark Scores 3dmark01SE - 24,212 3dmark03 - crashes while exiting Nature, test 4 3dmark05 - 5,999 3dmark06 - did not run yet, but will update when completed Well, thats it for now... hope this info helps someone out.... I know I can get more points changing my settings to performance, etc.... but I like all the eyecandy and quality graphics... I can also say that this driver does a great combination of both quality and performance.

Guest Guest
I installed this version and it works alright for me (I have a sony SZ140 with a GeForce 7400go) except for a couple of issues. One, it seems to have broken the ability to change the brightness of the screen (backlighting) and two, and i'm not sure if this is the driver or what, in 3dMark05 it crashes once it starts to get into the CPU (software) rendering mode (BSOD). It does just fine throughout the hardware accelerated part though. Thoughts?
Eaglehawk
This driver has helped us solve a problem with the Dell XPS M1710 with the 7900GTX. The original shipping Dell driver (84.29) has issues with the lid closing and the icons/windows moving position when you set the option for "Do Nothing" under Power Options. The screen would somehow resize to a 640 x 480 resolution temporarily, enough to rearrange your icons and windows. Using the modded inf and this driver has fixed this issue, and also made sure the screen powers off when you close the lid.

Using the modded inf and this driver has fixed this issue, and also made sure the screen powers off when you close the lid. for the record this issue also affects DELL Inspiron 9400 (E1705) with a GeForce Go 7800 Configuration. I'll be testing this tonight to see if it can get around that issue.
Guest Guest
This driver half fixed a serious problem with my M1710 wherein the laptop LCD wouldn't work and an image could only be displayed on an external display. Think there is still a problem with my machine however (unrelated to the driver perhaps) because I'm getting lots of flashing red pixels all over the place (not stuck, just seem to appear randomly) and the LCD will often cut out and stay black for a bit then power back on... doesn't look too healthy! This seems to be the only driver that has the nView display properties option wherein you can detect monitors with the system and as such I could detect my laptop LCD and make it the primary display. All newer revisions give me a BSOD when installing the drivers, and previous revisions dont have this feature, so I'm fairly screwed! Bill
Does the LCD come on when you open or close the screen abit? (move it) External still works fine but not the LCD? (no matter what driver you choose) Does it experience this problem of the LCD cutting of when you are viewing the BIOS screen? Sounds like your flex cable could be loose or bad (connects LCD to graphics card in your laptop) Dell has manuals on their support site, should check those out, or you could call up Dell. http://support.dell.com/ Select your model and then user guides and manuals from the drop down box. Somewhere in the guide it will mention something like replace graphics/video board and/or flex cable, follow the instructions to take your keyboard off and check the flex cable. The thing is a M1710 is too new to be having these problems (less than 6 months old?), has yours been dropped? I saw a video of a similar laptop from dell (same chassis) and they droped it on hardwood floors and even had a guy stand on it and it still worked, that laptop you have should be like a tank or something. Its hopefully still under a warrunty so I would call up Dell.
