inferno46n2 Posted May 26, 2006 Report Share Posted May 26, 2006 (edited) I ran a Benchmark on my card today and so far i have got it up too 360/760 and there is no artifacts or anything showing up... but my Temp reached a peak of 85 on the card and 90 plus on my Cpu...... this can't be normal?!? thats REALLY high i think lol.... i dunno maybe not what do you guys think...by the way the Bench was 3dmark05 and the results were 4260 Edited May 26, 2006 by inferno46n2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My GeForce 6600GT is set to shut down at 125 deg C (cant change it), whereas the CPU usually shuts down around 80 deg C. Now I'm not totally sure if laptop video cards are supposed to get that hot, as my GeForce FX Go5200 doesn't have a temp sensor on it, but I'd say that is normal.
