ulaoulao
Hello all, I have an 8000 insp. Running in top closed mode. I never use the lcd unless I need to. It seems that the external vga and svid are considered the same channel. If one is in use the other wont show any video. So I'm guessing that channel only supports one load. What I would like is to get the vga out to be the main channel, and svideo to be my second screen, and discard the lcd if I have to. Is this a hardware limitation or software? If its software any one know how to get it working. Also if this is a hardware limmitation, can the internal cable be made to send out a vga or svideo/rca signal. I know this is a funny question but with al thoes guru's out there its worth a shot. Edited May 31, 2006 by ulaoulao
Bill
You can run S-video and VGA at the same time. It is a driver limitation that by default will not let you set say a VGA monitor as primary. Changing this in the INF should fix the problem. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=6614
