Mercurio
Changing the Gforce bios and opening the laptop to clean the fan doesnt cancel the warranty, does it? Is this motherboard error very common? is your amilo performing better after the motherboard change? Thanks!
zipper
You could underclock your GPU if performance allows. A different driver version may act differently, but I haven't followed my temperatures so much as they stay max about 80-82.
Mercurio
What driver version do u recommend? Underclocking my gpu will decrease the performance so i will probably send my amilo to the "service" when i finish my exams, right now i need the machine. I buyed my amilo one month ago. GRRRRRRR i am so pissed off! :)

Now running 91.28 "tweakerized" http://tweaksrus.com/index.php?option=com_...id=660&Itemid=1 So your lappy is under warranty; perhaps better let them fix probably defective thermal compound under the GPU heat pipe. GPU temp is around 80C when i am not using the GPU when i test even in 3d Mark 2001 it shuts down at the thurd test (overheats) more than 110C. Why is the temo so high of the GPU? Any Idea ? I have tried with diferent drivers, updated the video bios. No luck... :) the same think 80C at normal work SO strange. I just jot it. 2 days use :)

There is very bad contact between the GPU and heatsink system so the GPU gets almost no cooling. It should be fixed immediately!
mattias
never ever "flash" the videocards VBIOS, its works perfectly fine to OC anyway. edit ®®®: pls. don't generalize
