For TV : Need Custom Widescreen Resolution and 50Hz?

Hi,

I've got an Inspiron 9400 Media Center 2005, with nVidia Geforce Go 7800, 256M.

Using DualView, I want to send a widescreen resolution image to my Toshiba Widescreen TV - currently it'll only let me send predefined resolutions. I'm using a modified inf. (I'm using the S-video socket to get the signal to my TV.)

I want to make the res 1024x576 (or maybe 1024x640), and, since I'm in the UK, the frequency needs to be 50Hz.

However, if I try and use Custom Resolutions, I get the message "The custom resolution cannot be added."

So my question is, how do I get this custom res and frequency? Do I need to modify the INF myself with these details? Any examples out there?

Has anyone successfully got a widescreen Custom Resolution on their TV? Has anyone got 50Hz to work?
