StefanG3D
NVIDIA made a useless note Installation issues with GeForce driver version 364.47 Issue happens here on laptop which unsurprisingly has only one display. Actually the installer nukes hardware detection, after a reboot it rolled back to 353.84 I wait for the pending Vulkan 1.0.5 driver... EDIT: Caught at home due to ice storm so i gave it another shot and succeeded. NB: you can observe installation with Sysinternals' DebugView, the log contains 20500 lines... EDIT2: Heads-up from the developer of "Ashes of the Singularity" Async compute is currently forcibly disabled on public builds of Ashes for NV hardware. Whatever performance changes you are seeing driver to driver doesn't have anything to do with async compute....I can confirm that the latest shipping DX12 drivers from NV do support async compute. You'd have to ask NV how specifically it is implemented. Edited March 7, 2016 by StefanG3D
