Guest Guest
I just get a "System was not modified please run the file again if you want to install this later" or something like that. Attempting a manual update just got me "File not found" after a little while.
Guest Guest
Same problem here. I believe it is due to the fact that the international files are not in the package, but the modded .inf references them. The hardware ID entry for your hardware needs to be copied from the modded inf to the original one.
Guest Guest
Same error here. I went from the recently released WHQL ones to 174.40 last night, and my experience index dropped from 4.7 back to its 4.6 (which is what it was before I installed the WHQL ones). Perhaps when these files are fixed my experience index might increase? - PR-0927
Guest Guest
Some files are missing from the package, to get these to install I just copied and pasted all files from the 174.40 package and clicked no to any "would you like to overwrite" prompts. Working nicely here
whitetigerx7
Yeah these need a repackage badly. The driver is fairly reliable too. Same speed as the 174.31s so nothing new. Probably these were a test nightly build BETA for the 9800 GX2 as a bug fix.
Jstn7477
The INF is broken. I took the 174.41 inf, updated the date and version in that, and used it to install these drivers. These seem to fix 174.41's problems, and they seem to work fine overall. (way better than 174.41) -J.B.
