Whyme
Every time I shutdown the computer, this nVidia error pops up: nvsvc32.exe - Application Error Instruction at 0x00407d76 referenced at 0x000000008 memory could not be "read" My system: Toshiba Satellite P105-S921 nVidia GeForce G0 7900 GS 256MB graphics card Microsoft Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 Direct X 9.0 (or better) Driver 91.28 in use now This error has been popping up since I got one of the drivers from the site, but I just found out that it was related to nVidia (kinda ignored it until then :) ) Edited August 20, 2006 by Whyme
Whyme
Well I decided to try a different driver, so I installed the recommended 84.25 and that error message is gone.
Bill
You were using 91.28, but 91.31 and 91.33 might have the problem fixed. I would recommend those 2 any day over the 91.28 driver if you want to use any of the current 91.xx drivers.

Is there any advantage with using 91.31 or 91.33 over 84.25?
Fabrice Roux
The main advantages of the 91.xx series over 84.25 are the random crashes and nice BSODs.

Edit: nevermind, i think you answered that in another thread Edited August 21, 2006 by Whyme
Bill
Even though he is French he clearly stated BSODs with the 91.xx driver series. Not the 84.25 driver.
skiabox
Same problem here with 91.47 (latest forceware). The card is Geforce Go 7300. Any idea how to fix that?
Guest Guest
I have the same problem :) ( with 91.47. Seems to run quite good with my KN1 & Geforce Go 6600, overclocked to 453/765 - stable. Updated from an early 80er driver ´cause of BF2142, but during shutdown of the computer, this nVidia error pops up with 91.47: nvsvc32.exe - Application Error Instruction at 0x00407d76 referenced at 0x000000008 memory could not be "read"
