Two Quality Core 2 Duo Notebooks From Gigabyte: Which One Is For You?

Couple of Gigabyte reviews, one at least with a nVidia based GPU.

Was almost tempted to get one of these as a white book, but a go7400 just isn't upto the job for me.

But for those that demand battery life it could do the job quite nicely.

Sometimes it's interesting to compare two similar, but also different notebook computers from the same vendor to get an idea which one of them might work best for you. Here we look at Gigabyte's very nice W251U (12.1" display) and W551N (15.4" display) notebooks. The W251U is roughly 12" x 9" and a little over 4 pounds, while the W551N measures about 14" x 10" and weighs a tad over 6 pounds. Both have Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs.
