jtzako Posted February 2, 2007 Report Share Posted February 2, 2007 Every time I install a display driver in Vista 32bit(release version) I get a BSOD telling me "system halted." The screen is quite glitchy looking and I cant read all of it but it appears to say "hardware failure" as well. So far I've tried uninstalling old drivers first (but the built in MS one auto-installs) then installing the new driver but it still happens. I've even formatted and reinstalled the OS and it still happens. Any ideas what is causing this?
