MaMuN Posted February 5, 2007 Report Share Posted February 5, 2007 Hi all My Laptop model is Sony Vaio VGN-FE90s. This is a japanese model and a Japanese WindowsXP sp2 installed with it. But I want to install English OS so I am trying to install Windows VISTA Ultimate Edition to it. From this website I download the NVIDIA driver and followed the install instruction and its working just fine with VISTA. But I cannot install Sigmatel High Definition audio driver. A friend gave me the Sigmatel High Definition Audio Codec driver and I put it on my website for others to download. It works great for me. I'm so glad to have sound again. Now if only I can get the Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus, Video Controller, and Video Controller (VGA Compatible) devices installed, I'll be great! http://www.mikestechnicalservice.com/download.php?f=SigmatelHighDefinitionAudioCodec.zip -- click the link, don't copy the text (notice the elipses that are there...) At that site under downloads are drivers from Sound, Modem and the Texas Instrument Media Card Reader that work for Windows XP SP2. I just downgraded from Vista to XP PRO and those drivers work.
