6800M GT not recognized by Vista on new MacBook Pro

I just got one of the new MacBook Pro's with the 6800M GT.

I installed Vista Ultimate using BootCamp. In Vista, it shows the display adapter as Standard VGA. I tried installing the drivers from this site as well as NVidia's site and in both cases I get an error saying no compatible hardware found.

This is a real bummer as it doesn't recognize my external monitor or let me run Aero.

Any suggestions?

Can someone tell me where to go to resolve this problem, I would appreciate it SO MUCH because it's driving me crazy. Thank you,

You could just use the drivers CD from Apple... The driver isn't good at all but it'll give you a display driver.

For installation instructions

XP: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=33

Vista: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....showtopic=11997

I'd recommend 163.69 for Vista, 163.71 for XP. They're essentially the same, but .69 is WHQL for Vista and .71 is WHQL for XP. Not that it would make much of a difference...
