Jwonni
I beleive my GPU (geforce 6800) has died and am looking at getting a geforce 7600 as i have been advisded this is fairly simple. I have not been inside or done anyhting in a computer before so would like to know when i get one should i go to a computer shop or should i be able to this myself Could anyone give me any links to useful walkthroughs or just general information or tips. I dont mind if its plenty or reading but if it starts using complex computer language it will lose me thanks very much
Ice-Tea
The exchange for the 7600 is easy. You need a small pitch Philips screwdriver, that's it. No other mods are needed. The only thing you have to be carefull with is to put the right screws back in the right place. If this is about my cards, a fresh heatpad is included and should be put on the die.
