Upgradeability of the Alienware Area51 m9750 graphics card

Hey people,

I am considering buying an Alienware Area51 m9750 which currently holds the 512MB NVidia® GeForce? Go 7950 GTX card.

Since it is not listed on the mxm-upgrade website, nor can I find any other relevant info on this system, I thought I'd ask here.

Since this laptop is quite expensive I do not wish to have to buy a new one as soon as DX10 really kicks in. Can anyone tell me whether these cards can be replaced by DX10 compatible cards? I have sent numerous emails to alienware, but they haven't replied... (maybe I shouldn't buy one then? :) )

Any info would be helpful...

It's an MXM card as far as I know, but it has never been tried. Decent cahnce it will work, but no guatantee.

ah well, by the time this becomes relevant, I could just drive to belgium and have you take a look at it! :) belgium is 5 mins away from where I live, so that shouldn't be a problem! :)
