redcamel Posted July 17, 2007 Report Share Posted July 17, 2007 I have a ~3 year old Gateway notebook and I have it hooked VGA to my external Samsung 226BW. It's a 22" monitor native 1680x1050. The max my notebook adapter will push is 1600x1024. However the screen looks really bad @ 1600x1024. It there a way to add the 1680x1050 to the adapter? Display works like a champ.
