Guest jacob Posted August 25, 2007 Report Share Posted August 25, 2007 K well I am using the 77.77 driver with the Modded INF and it works fine but when I ran a check to see if my system could run a game using system requirements lab it says I couldn'tbecause of my pixel shader. The game is FFXI and the odd thing is that I played it 2 years back perfectly fine on normal-ish settings. But only a month or so ago did I delete the driver that came with the computer and only yesterday did I find out about this Modded INF stuff..... so I'm wondering why this is happening.../ My graphics card is a Geforce4 460 Go by the way. Bill Posted August 25, 2007 Report Share Posted August 25, 2007 That card doesn't support pixel shaders, and it only has proper vertex shader support through driver emulation. To use the emulation you have to downgrade to a really old 4x series driver, I don't know what the last driver is that contains the support.
