®®®
Our FAQ'd Reference List of all known NVIDIA GPUs supported in Pieter's INF got a face lift within the last week. It's now easier to figure into which GeForce Series the Quadro cards belong and additionally what core revision (G71, G73 etc.) each GPU is using. This now makes a laptop buying decision much more easier as the NVIDIA naming scheme recently got very confusing for the prosumer (professional consumer :) ). Below is a snippet of the mobile GPUs: Mobile NVIDIA GPUsNVIDIA GeForce 2 Go Series NV11_DEV_0112=GeForce2 GoNVIDIA GeForce4 4xx Go Series NV17_DEV_0174=GeForce4 440 Go NV17_DEV_0175=GeForce4 420 Go NV17_DEV_0176=GeForce4 420 Go 32M NV17_DEV_0177=GeForce4 460 Go NV17_DEV_0179=GeForce4 440 Go 64M NV17_DEV_017C=Quadro4 500 GoGL NV17_DEV_017D=GeForce4 410 Go 16M NV18_DEV_0186=GeForce4 448 Go NV18_DEV_0187=GeForce4 488 Go NV18_DEV_018D=GeForce4 448 Go NV28_DEV_0286=GeForce4 4200 Go NV28_DEV_028C=Quadro4 700 GoGL NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5xxx Series NV31_DEV_031A=GeForce FX Go 5600 NV31_DEV_031B=GeForce FX Go 5650 NV31_DEV_031C=Quadro FX Go 700 NV34_DEV_0324=GeForce FX Go 5200 64M (as of NV List 2007-04) NV34_DEV_0325=GeForce FX Go 5250/5500 NV34_DEV_0328=GeForce FX Go 5200 32/64M NV34_DEV_032C=GeForce FX Go 53x0 NV34_DEV_032D=GeForce FX Go 5100 NV36_DEV_0347=GeForce FX Go 5700 NV36_DEV_0348=GeForce FX Go 5700 NV36_DEV_034C=Quadro FX Go 1000 NVIDIA GeForce Go 6xxx Series NV41_DEV_00C8=GeForce Go 6800 NV41_DEV_00C9=GeForce Go 6800 Ultra NV41_DEV_00CC=Quadro FX Go1400 NV43_DEV_0144=GeForce Go 6600 NV43_DEV_0146=GeForce Go 6600 TE/6200 TE NV43_DEV_0148=GeForce Go 6600 NV43_DEV_0149=GeForce Go 6600 GT NV44_DEV_0164=GeForce Go 6200 NV44_DEV_0166=GeForce Go 6400 (as of 2007-08-23/v156.55; earlier known as Go 6250) NV44_DEV_0167=GeForce Go 6200 (as of 2007-08-23/v156.55; earlier known as Go 6400 as of NV List 2007-04] NV44_DEV_0168=GeForce Go 6400 (as of 2007-08-23/v156.55; earlier known as Go 6200 as of NV List 2007-04] C51_DEV_0244=GeForce Go 6150 C51_DEV_0247=GeForce Go 6100 NVIDIA GeForce Go 7xxx Series G70_DEV_0098=GeForce Go 7800 G70_DEV_0099=GeForce Go 7800 GTX G71_DEV_0297=GeForce Go 7950 GTX G71_DEV_0298=GeForce Go 7900 GS G71_DEV_0299=Quadro NVS 510M (as of 2007-08-23/v156.55XP32 NVBL.INF; earlier known as GeForce Go 7900 GTX) G71_DEV_029A=Quadro FX 2500M G71_DEV_029B=Quadro FX 1500M G71_DEV_029D=Quadro FX 3500M G72_DEV_01D4=GeForce Go 7350 G72_DEV_01D6=GeForce Go 7200 G72_DEV_01D7=GeForce Go 7300 / Quadro NVS 110M (as of DELL's v101.19 release) G72_DEV_01D8=GeForce Go 7400 / Quadro NVS 120M (as of DELL's v101.19 release) G72_DEV_01D9=GeForce Go 7400 GS / 7450 G72_DEV_01DA=Quadro NVS 110M G72_DEV_01DB=Quadro NVS 120M G72_DEV_01DC=Quadro FX 350M G73_DEV_0397=GeForce Go 7700 G73_DEV_0398=GeForce Go 7600 G73_DEV_0399=GeForce Go 7600 GT G73_DEV_039A=Quadro NVS 300M G73_DEV_039B=GeForce Go 7900 SE G73_DEV_039C=Quadro FX 550M C67_DEV_0530=GeForce 7190M / nForce 650M C67_DEV_0531=GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M C67_DEV_0533=GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M NVIDIA GeForce 8xxxM Series G84_DEV_0407=GeForce 8600M GT G84_DEV_0408=GeForce 8600M GTS G84_DEV_0409=GeForce 8700M GT G84_DEV_040A=Quadro NVS 310M G84_DEV_040B=Quadro NVS 320M G84_DEV_040C=Quadro FX 570M G84_DEV_040D=Quadro FX 1600M G86_DEV_0425=GeForce 8600M GS G86_DEV_0426=GeForce 8400M GT G86_DEV_0427=GeForce 8400M GS G86_DEV_0428=GeForce 8400M G G86_DEV_0429=Quadro NVS 140M G86_DEV_042A=Quadro NVS 130M G86_DEV_042B=Quadro NVS 135M G86_DEV_042D=Quadro FX 360M Unlabeled Mobile NV31_0316=NV31M NV31_0317=NV31M Pro NV31_031D=NV31GLM NV31_031E=NV31GLM Pro NV31_031F=NV31GLM Pro NV36_0349=NV36M Pro NV36_034B=NV36MAP NV44_016B=NV44GLM NV44_016C=NV44GLM NV44_016D=NV44GLM NV44_0228=NV44M G71_029C=G71GLM C67_DEV_0532=MCP67M C67_DEV_053F=MCP67M
Guest Kador
Isn't there a confusion in the G84/G86 part of the list ???
mobilenvidia
Basically the G84's are high performance and the G86 are mass market battery life/cost effective GPU's
