BoD Posted October 1, 2007 Report Share Posted October 1, 2007 Hi, I am new to all this laptop graphics upgrading stuff, I have built quite a few PCs for my self but I never done anything with a laptop. After reading through the website and looking at a couple of posts regarding the Pi1536 I am none the wiser. Is there a safe and good upgrade path I can take? x1900 runs to hot and can brick the laptop 7900gs ? 6800gt?/Ultra?? Please can you help, I moved over to a laptop a couple of months ago due to space but I can only get 30 - 50 fps from Half life - CS using the x1400 so I am looking for an escape route that doesnt involve getting a new laptop.
