Cornett
Just got a TOSHIBA Satellite X200 with pre installed vista home. Downgraded it to XP prof. It took some time to find a driver that could run on the XP, but now i runs ok, but not the Solidworks.... Anyone know what to do?? Is it possible to find a driver? Should I change the graphic card? Bill
It should run just fine on that card. (think it even runs on my quadro4) You just need a working driver, test some of the older 163, and test some of the 15x series. You might even want to test some drivers older than that. I just searched nvidias site for quadro drivers. 162.62 is the latest certified one, might want to try that with a modified INF. (bet it works with solidworks)

Bill
I have none at the moment except to possibly try older drivers like pre-15x series. (maybe all these new ones are just buggy in solidworks) I will be getting a dual 8700M GT laptop within the next week or so (should ship soon), so I can test solidworks myself and see how it runs on mine. (I'm somewhat familiar with it, might even use it next semester in class)
