But does your card model support it ?cheers envydyauser He has a Vostro which means he probably has a an 8400M or 8600M, so yeah they do support Purevideo HD. But you'll need Cyberlink PowerDVD or similar to actually make use of it, there is no standalone DirectShow codec like with the original Purevideo. omega2 Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 I have a 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. Yes, the card supports 'Pure HD', but only for Vista. They have since released a driver that allows XP to use 'Pure HD'.
