huyler Posted October 28, 2007 Report Share Posted October 28, 2007 Every graphics driver I have installed so far from this site causes a huge delay in windows bootup. I've use driver cleaner, regcleaner, went to "programs and features" to remove nvidia display drivers, went to C:\windows\system32 and deleted all traces of "nv*" in driverstore as well as all traces of "nv" in the registry. There's about 1min blank screen delay in windows bootup right before the windows vista logo screen comes up. When I uninstall the nvidia display driver, and use the default windows svga drivers, windows boots up without that delay. I'm using the forceware 169.01 with modded inf.
