XI 2528 Geforce 8600M GS

Hi folks,

i have a big problem. i have xp sp2 installed. Often in several games i got a bluescreen with following information.

BCCode : 1000007f

BCP1 : 00000008

BCP2 : BAB38D70

BCP3 : 00000000

BCP4 : 00000000

OSVer : 5_1_2600

SP : 2_0

Product : 256_1

I have no Idea what actually the problem is. I searched via google and found a topic at microsoft that the graphic driver causes the problem.

OS: WinXP Pro + SP2

Nvidia latest driver 6375. Mod.inf from this page.

Does anyone have similar problems with this card and can give me an advise which driver is the best for my card?

The 163.75 driver has a weird bug in it and causes crashes. Try a different driver. Something even newer preferably.

hi all. I've tried now the following on from this page.

same error. I've tried to play Call of Duty 4. After 10 mins it crashes.

I've taken a look at the nvidia vista ~.inf file. There are following informations implemented.

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS"

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.2 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.3 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.4 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.5 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.6 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.7 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

NVIDIA_G86.DEV_0425.8 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS "

Do you know if this would helb if i put them in the xp inf file?

Something even newer preferably. => which one would you prefer?
