cL0bb3R
Question... does the X1800 use dedicated or shared/allocated RAM? The Card has it's "own" 256MB VRAM.
whitetigerx7
RAM on video cards can't be turned off. BTW "BurnIn Test" isn't that reliable of a tool. I can suggest two things if games experience issues. 1. Disable Indexing on your hard drive. 2. Enable the KTX Buffer and allocate at least equal the RAM of the video card from the system RAM (this will not effect games or applications unless RAM is actually accessed) 3. Update your drivers if possible both motherboard and video card. 4. If your using Vista disable UAC. If games continue to have errors try these: 1. Contact Ice Tea to see if he might be able to sell you a suitable replacement card IF the card is an MXM specification card. 2. (highly recommend) Contact the manufacturer of the laptop and ask if they can send you a replacement MXM card or see if you can send it in for a repair.
