They hear "NVCAP" they think of the capturing software. If you want the NVCAP value for you laptop, and go from there. For everybody else who is highly confused - an "NVCAP" in OS X terms is a 20 byte string that described the capabilities of the card... mainly what outputs it has, and what outputs can be displayed simultaneously.
