minimock
I have been reading various articles about SP3 adding some speed to systems loaded with it, so I thought, what the heck, and installed it... Im running a straight, no tweaked system In a Toshiba x205 T7700 CPU 4 gig of ram with a 7200 RPM drive, with driver 171.23. on a 8700M GT My original 3dmark06 in 1280x854 was 5164, after installing SP3 It went to 5468. NOW im not suggesting that you do this because SP3 is still currently only RC (Release Canadite) but I was curious. If you do, you do so at your own risk :) But I did think it was interesting, that just the service pack caused this jump.
