Guest ip_joe
Hi Is there any adaptor to plug an mxm module in a pcie x16 slot? Is there a mini-itx mainboard with a 779 slot AND mxm support? Something like this: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=12222 but with mxm or pcie x16 and adaptor. Why are mxm modules much more expensive than normal video cards? For example: ASUS EAH3870 X2 dual chip! about 370 Euro, mxm 8800GTX 512MB 735 Euro Is it not possible to put normal desktop card chips on mxm modules? The card would be much smaller. Ice-Tea
I have a mITX board with MXM adapter that's currently being Fedexed to me. It's a 945 platfrom. If I am happy with it, I will order a bunch of 965 boards from the same manufacturer.
