Klaako Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Hi! I'm running a Hp Pavilion DV6500 with Geforce 8400m gs, and this is my problem. A few weeks ago I had no issues with clocking the Gpu and memory bus, everything worked fine but I had no intention to clock it so i left the markers at 400mhz which should be default by ntune. A couple of days ago I decided to try speeding the crap up a bit but the slightest change (1mhz!) and apply button turned the markers back to default, So I couldn't change anything, not with ntune, rivatuner,powerstrip or anything. powerstrip just sounds a signal and turn the sliders back to where they were before. But today I read something about to underclock the card first so I did, they're running at 100mhz now, very very slow, and now 100mhz is the default, I can't even change them back to 400mhz so somebody please HELP! From a bad score of 1500 marks att 3dmark06 to something even worse, 300marks, I can't play anything! :) I'm using the latest Nvidia driver (7.15.11.6743) but have also tried both laptopvideo drivers and modded inf's! Uninstall the nvidia drivers(control panel, then driver sweeper or driver cleaner pro) and all of the tweaking utilities you have.Clean the registry with some tool and then rebbot.Instal everything again.It should work.Good luck.
