p4k0_90n_k
Hello, I have a laptop hp pavilion dv6120la, amd turion 64 x2 tl-50, nvidia geforce go 6150. I want to know if i can make a upgrade of my graphic card. I have seen that the pavilion dv6700z is very similar. It has a turion 64 x2 tl-60 and a nvidia geforce 8400m gs. It's possible to install the geforce 8400m gs in my pavilion dv6120la? :) . I ask because they are of the same dv6000 series. I hope somebody can help me :) . And somebody can show me pictures of the pavilion dv6120la motherboard.
Guest Guest
I have worked inside a few of the DV6000 laptops and no, you cannot. The GPUs and memory chips are soldered directly onto the motherboard. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
