Hey guys,

U have a really niched expertise which makes ur knowledge really valuable :)

So this is my question, i have an 8600M GT from a compal ifl90, how can i adapt it to a mobo which only supports pci-e 1x? Where can i find an adapter, i found Adex store, however their mini-flex is for mini pci-e only, which i believe-correct if wrong -is less than half of mxm.

In general what is the name of mxm slot? mini pci-e 16x, mxm or tiny bus?

Sorry fir the newbish question,

Awaiting for your answer

For sure it is, check Shuttle XPS X100 with the 945PM mini-itx, or the liantec boards. The thing is to find the right adapters.. anyone?

Understanding better the liantec board, tiny bus is just a reformed pcie16x. So an adapter can be made on a pcie16x pcb, does anyone has this kind of boards? I would love to use low voltage beasts :) :)

Apart from the Liantec boards, I know of no commercial projects that do this.
