Guest jerry Posted May 20, 2008 Report Share Posted May 20, 2008 hi my name is jerry, i have a dell inspiron 8100, when i turn on the laptop the fans are suppost to be on all the time?? right!!!!, i belive they are but, well anyways they go on when they want to go on, almost like a car fan when the temp get to that point fan comes on , thats how these fans are reacting, the prob is my dell 8100 is shuting down and restarting, and or freezes up, any help is very good help, please help, t-y jerry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aliveanddead86 Posted May 20, 2008 Report Share Posted May 20, 2008 Use I8KfanGUI (search it on google) you can set when you want the fans to go on and off, at what temperature.
