ledge2edge Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 :) :) Hi, guys I currently Got an 8600M-GT 512 in my Alienware But i am having a problem with vista 32bit. I know the system reads the card and everything, then installs the drivers, but this is were it gets fun. Once I restart to finalize the install, and vista goes to its normal start up the screen, it just plain out turns "off/ to black" as though it isnt providing the output video. But the system is still fully functioning, I still hear bootup sounds to vista even after the black out . Anyone one have this boggle before? if so any clue to what the problem is, Also I got this running good on xp home. with a 3dmark 05 score of 7501 which isnt to bad.
