Recently I've started having problems with this video card, so I've began a research in order to find a better one, that must fit in my laptop. Reading this forum and almost all the mxm-upgrade.com, I reach to the conclusion that a better card for my laptop will be almost any card that fit in my mxm III slot ( I presume it is a mxm3, even if inside I have a mxm2 card, after I've seen what sort of cards have been upgraded in this laptop -http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Table.html - Pi1556 is the same thing as Pi 1536 in the list). According to this table, I can put in my laptop a Ati x1800m, or x1900m, or a Nvidia go 7900gs. I recently found a Nvidia 8600m GT card, and I was wondering if this card will be able to run in my Amilo Pi 1556. ( This is the one .. - http://www.directron.com/90c1ciz5jxbn0.html - ).
