I've read on many forums about it and people are split on whether it is or not. My 6600 GPU has failed and my laptop won't boot anymore so I need to replace it but I'm not sure if its MXM-II and , if so, could I upgrade the GPU to maybe a 7600 Go ? Anyway hope you can help! dasani Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 I read about that both z81s/z84 have MXM-III and upgradable. As to z71v, sorry, the answer is unknown yet. You gotta figure it out by yourself. If it is upgradable, it might look sth like this. But still, you need look into your notebook to see how the graphics card is mounted onto the motherboard.
