[XPS M1530] S-video output doesn't work fine on crt 16/9

Hello everyone,

I?ve bought a new dell xps m1530 with an 8600M GT, and I?m trying to make it works properly with my crt tv which have a 16/9 ratio.

My trouble is that there is black band on both side of the screen (left and right), with my old laptop there was an option called ?overscan? (into ati control panel) that enable me to fully occupy the screen of my television.

With the driver given by dell which is pretty old this option is not available but on newer driver the option is present.

But with the new driver that I?ve found here (on this web site), when I try to enable the s-video output the screen stay black, and into the setting when I try to change the output format it works with the hd ouput in lower resolution (570 or so) but in black and white.

So I?m wondering which driver I can use for fix this or any other solution.

Thanks you!
