I was wondering what would be the best drivers for this? not really concerned with games just blu ray playback. thanks for any help and assistance. wook Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 try 174.31 its release by dell (WHQL) for the 8400 and 8600 GT cards. I think i am correct in saying that the macbook pro has this card? I switch to this driver when i want to play a DVD/ movie, and it runs very well. no screen tearing of any kind. quality! It doesnt give good game performance, but you dont want that so sweet as! EDIT: if this doesnt work, then download another WHQL driver for a machine that uses blueray. * Example: XPS 1530/ 1730 by dell have this optical drive. So any WHQL driver by dell for these machines will be compatable. You can get them from the dell site. Obviously other companies laptops drivers will work also.
