99GrandAmSE Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 I was having problems with dxgkrnl.sys, kept on BSOD'ing during heavy 3d load, so I reinstalled directx 10, thinking that might overwrite the problem. Well now, I'm having horrible performence with 3d applications, and I don't know why. Havn't touched the video drivers, the ones I have were the best I've found. All I literally did was reinstall directx off the microsoft website. After running 3dmark06, my scores around about 1000 points lower Before - 4709 (1893-1794-2146) Now - 3894 (1182-1793-2126) obviously the first score is the one thats different, anyone have any ideas? oh, and my laptop is about 3 weeks old too THanks!
