Wiam
I have Toshiba X205-SLI1 LAPTOP. My question is can I install hard disks other than SATA on it (other kinds of hard disks), meaning hard disks that Windows XP can be installed on? Thanks. Michael Marley
No. The closest thing you can do to installing a non-SATA hard disk is to disable AHCI in the BIOS.
Phnx
If you want to install xp on it, you can either get an external floppy drive and put the sata/ahci drivers on a floppy and insert it during the xp install when asked, or you can slipstream the drivers into an xp disc using nlite
Michael Marley
Yes, there was already a thread about this.
