If some HP dv9000 lappies are MXM, then shouldn't al of them be upgradeable? According to a lot of parts sites they all share the same motherboard.

Also, I read somewhere that some integrated graphic boards have a jumper to make them use the integrated rather than a MXM slot. is this true?

Possible that Dv9000 have both options?

also IF it does, will it upgrade or will bios stop me?

I have a dv9205ca with a geforce go 6150

so many graphic options for this unit and only one motherboard listed.

--I will crack it open as soon I get it back from the service enhancement motherboard replacement.

any opinions welcome as I am new to MXM
