GF 8400M G Overcloking. 3dMark05 = 3055 score

hey guys, i have acera spire 4520M G- vista home premium, 2.1 Ghz, 2gb DDR2, NVIDA GF 8400M G.

i tried 2 nvida driver and compare each other. 101.27 (not OC) score 571 only, 101.27 (OC 500/700) score 579 only, small change. using 176.37 (not OC) scores 2045, and 176.37 (OC shader clock only, 400/400/1600) scores 3055. i used 3DMark05 benchmarking. its temperature, GPU 79C and CPU 81C. is this score and temperature normal?

another is, Im using NVIDA System Tools to overclock the GPU, using it to 101.27 driver, i can overclock the core clock and the memory clock, there is no shader clock to overclok. but when i upgrade to 176.37 driver i can only overclock the shader clock and i can not overclock the core and memory clock. is there a procedure that i can do to overclock the core and memory clock.

if u ask why i chose 176.37 driver, it is simply because the device ID and subsystem ID match with my GPU spec, i can not use the latest version because it didnt match with my GPU device ID and subsystem ID. my device ID is 10DE-0428 and subsystem ID is 1025-0121. other driver is intednded for 8400m g with device ID of 06E2, mine is 0428. i search all the latest driver and look for the Original INF that can supports each driver, 171.37 is the latest driver that support my GPU.

please comment with this, if there still a way to overclock the core and memory clock?

Hi, I never managed to overclock my 8400M G in my Acer Aspire 4520G with the original driver, version 175.61 and 176.37 using any tool (nTune, ATITool and RivaTuner), how did you manage to overclock?

Anyway, I gave up on driver level overclocking and flashed my VBIOS from 400/400/800 to 450/450/900 successfully.

I haven't really benchmarked it before and after, and I didnt push it to the max that I have read on different forums. I just wanted a little more kick with this one while waiting for my replacement card.
