Tell me why .....bin??? not a rom file for nvflash http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/1742/Ac...512.070423.html an the new Version from Nflash Version 5.57 I am create a bootdisk for external Floppy with a autoexec.bat dir > out1.txtnvflash --list > out2.txt nvflash -r > out3.txt nvflash -c > out4.txt nvflash -b diag.rom nvflash -k diag.rom > out5.txt nvflash -4 -5 -6 -A -y Acer.8600MGT.512.070423.bin > out6.txt The Notebook booting from floppy with many beeps (2 beeps). 1 minutes later end of the working disk a black screen... The Laptop booting normaly in windows with black screen. When i plug a external VGA Adapter in this book, i see the Desktop of external Monitor. when i plug the old card 6800 i see immediately the bios an the windows desktop. Sorry for my english...can you help me??? My book is a 17" the Asuscard is a C90 card designed for a 15"Book . is this problem cause?? aliveanddead86 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 The flash was a bad flash, you need to blind flash your card back to the original BIOS. The .bin file you downloaded may not have been correct, hence why you get the black screen. I have also experienced the same problem before, the only way around it is to blind flash it back. NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility (Version 5.50)NVIDIA display adapters present in system: No NVIDIA display adapters found.
