Guest Longsh0t Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 I was looking at what my upgrade options are for my M5550 and came across this page. http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Fujitsu.html From what I see, the chart says that in order for a M5550 to use a 8600m GT, it needs an Amilo Pi Bios. Does this mean flashing my motherboard to an Amilo Pi Bios or flashing the video card? If it's flashing the motherboard, where can I find a compatible Amilo Pi bios? secdbp Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Last weekend ,I just flashed my Amilo Pi 1556's bios . Used the BIOS of M5550'S 2.07W. But now , I had to flash black to (1556's 1.25) because , there is some issue with 2.07W. ( SATA AHCI and Mouse) Now ,I am looking for a new bios to cool down my 1556, it is too hot.
